Terms and conditions

Please note, that placing an order with our shop you are considered to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions below.

Article No 1
Privacy Policy

Velvet Valley protects your rights to privacy and your personal information will not be disclosed or passed to a third party for commercial purposes. Personal information will be used only to process orders and if needed for marketing purposes to keep you posted on our news.

Article No 2
Placing an order

By placing an order with us you are considered to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Velvet Valley will act with the best possible care while processing your order.
Once the order has been placed, we will send you a confirmation email that your order has been received.

Article No 3
Canceling order

If you decided to cancel your order, please notify us by email as soon as possible.
In case your order has already been dispatched, you may return an item/ items you have ordered for the refund excluding delivery charge within 7 days from receiving your parcel. For further information please go to Article No 8- Returns.

Article No 4
Payment

Velvet Valley accepts payments via PayPal, credit or debit cards.

If you have PayPal account and would like to make the payment through it, as soon as you choose to enter PayPal payment,  then you will have to login with your account details and make the payment accordingly.

If you don't have PayPal account you can pay by your credit or debit card through PayPal system. All credit and debit cards are accepted by PayPal payment system. You will need to follow PayPal instructions to process the payment.

After your payment is processed you will receive a confirmation email and  order processing update with shipment arrangement.
The prices on our web store are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery costs.

Article No 5
Duties and Taxes

It is customer's responsibility to assure that the item can be lawfully imported to the destination country.

Orders shipped not to European Union countries may be the subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees by the destination country.

Velvet Valley has no control over those additional charges, so we would suggest you to contact your local customs office for further information.

Article No 6
Delivery

We will deliver the item/ items ordered to the address provided by the customer. In case the address is not correct, the customer will be responsible for delivery charges.  We ship through Lithuanian Post and all our parcels are insured and will have track number

Your order will be shipped within 2-4 business days as soon as the payment is confirmed unless the item is currently out of stock.

Since we handcraft we do not have plenty of items in stock and if you order the item, which is not currently available, please allow between 2 to 6 weeks before we handcraft it and deliver it to you. If the item is completely hand crocheted it might take up to 8 weeks for the larger items to be handmade.

We will not be able to deliver item if we are not able to receive authorization of your payment.

Custom orders

If you would like a specific size and color item to be hand crocheted specially for you, we welcome your order via email: home@velvetvalley.com or all us at 00370 682 11413 ( Mon- Fri 7.00am to 4.00pm GMT, Sat-8 am to 1pm GMT) and we will be happy to help.

Article No 8
Returns

In case you are not delighted with the item you may return it to us within 15 days of receipt.

The item you would like to return must be in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and in original packaging including all labels.

We cannot accept the item returned if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is misuse.

It might take up to 15 business days to make the refund of the purchase price minus PayPal fees if applicable, shipping costs back to your PayPal account or credit/ debit card as soon we receive the sent item.

Important: Item/ items are returned at your own cost. We strongly suggest you to obtain the certificate of postage from the Post Office of the sent item. If the item is lost in transit it will not be treated as returned.

Article No 9
Damaged or faulty items

We would be very disappointed if our customer receives a faulty item.

Please note that within 14 days of your purchase as soon as you identify damage you can return the item under our normal return procedure for the refund including shipping costs. You will have to notify us to the following e- mail address: home@velvetvalley.com.

Please read carefully about the item care instructions on the label or in the product description page. We will not be able to accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is a misuse.
